FF & rewind great for language studies!
« on: October 06, 2007, 09:42:27 AM »
I use my Rockboxed Sansa 280 for Japanese language studies -- Pimsleur, Japanese Pod 101 and various CDs that accompanied texts.
The smoothness of rewind and fast-forwarding is remarkable.  Especially for the exercise tracks that accompany Japanese Genki Integrated , I don't know how else I could manage.  I also have an 8Gb Meizu mini-player which cannot do the job on those same tracks -- one cannot rewind to the point where one needs to re-hear the speech uttered.
I am curious as to whether this smoothness of speed-moving is unique to Sandisk hardware or applies to all Rockboxed players.
Rockbox -- saiko desu!!!
