Trouble using fonts
« on: October 03, 2007, 12:50:03 AM »
Hi I'm new Rockbox and I have been playing around with it on my Ipod Mini 2nd Gen.  It's so awesome but I have a problem with fonts.  I have downloaded the fonts package and I'm pretty sure I extracted the files correctly.  The problem is that when I go to browse font, nothing happens.  I have also tried going to files and trying to set the font there but I don't even see the fonts folder there...  I thought maybe I extracted it wrong but I checked again and again and it's at the correct location.  Can someone help please?

Btw, I don't know if this is asked a lot but I have tried searching the forums before posting.

The fonts should be located in X:\.rockbox\fonts\ and nowhere else (where X is the drive letter of your player).

Yes I have it located correctly.  I solved the problem.  It was weird, I had to shut down Rockbox and restart it.  For some reason, when Rockbox restarts itself after disconnecting from the PC, it doesn't detect new files or folders.  It did however detect a new theme that I added... Weird...
