what's my iPod model?

Hello guys, sorry for the question but I'm not sure what is the model I own. I have an iPod Classic 80Gb... then I discovered there's a 5.5thGen and a 6th gen, one is supported, the other isn't.... now, how do I discover if mine is 5.5 or 6?
Oh, I bought it  some days ago.

The Classic is the 6th gen.  Hence, unsupported.

The IpodFAQ wiki page also has link to an apple page describing exactly how to identify your player version ...
