a little help with the DOOM?

(1/2) > >>

ubercooldave:
okay, i have an iPod video 5.5g 30gb and the other day installed the latest rockbox.
ive installed doom shareware edition and doom 2, and they both work a charm from the "game" submenu from the "doom" option in the games menu. now, ive found a few cool pluggins, such as starwars.wad and dukenukem.wad, and when installing it by either putting it in the doom folder or in my own created doom/pluggins folder, they are not visible in the "pluggins" or "game" folder once actually in the game on my ipod.
can someone please help?  ;D

Remove one g.

(In other words: use the correct spelling. Computers care for it.)

Chronon:
Here's what the manual has to say:
Doom

Here's what the wiki has to say:
PluginDoom.

Both of these tell you the correct location for saving addon .wads.

So will a quick search on the forums. This question has been asked to ad infinitum.

thank you very much
one query tho...
when i start up some addons, such as half life, it will begin to load, then say "this addon does not support the normal doom graphics" or something like that, then quickly flash the start screen and close down and go back to rockbox. any help please?  ;)
