Sansa c240 Issue
« on: September 28, 2007, 10:07:38 PM »
I got a c240 yesturday and was surfing the web for firmware updates and found out rockbox(only reason why i was about to buy a ipod) and installed it, everything works fine except it stops at
"598 found (prev to return)" and doesnt find any files after that. i looked and only have 200 songs on there so can anyone explain why it stops there at 598 and doesnt allow me to get to playing the music.

So I'm guessing you are initialising the database?

More details would be useful - what did you press to get to this, what version of rockbox (exactly), what files are on the player etc. etc.

If it is database, do you have any files in the recycle bin etc?  Try running the disktidy plugin.

Im running r14897 and i hit the database menu to initialize it, then select to hit yes and it stops at a number usually way above the amount of songs i have on it, like it says i have 600 when i have 200 and when i 20 it says i have 300,the only files on the plugin are the rockbox files and some music, ill try running disktidy now.

EDIT: it cleaned 0 items...... and says i have 552 found things in database....

EDIT: i fixed it
