Placing text on screen
« on: September 27, 2007, 01:35:20 PM »
Hi, almost done with my WPS but I need help on one thing.

I can list ARTIST, ALBUM, and SONG TITLE all on one line and make it scroll. What I need help on is I want it to start at position 80 and end at position 170. Here is what I have so far:
%s%a    %?it<%it|(Title Unknown)>    %?ia<%ia|(Artist Unknown)>    %?id<%id|(Album Unknown)>

any help would be appreciated. :)

You cannot do that with the current official build.  There is a patch named "Scroll margins" which does it, but that requires either light programming (To apply it to the source code and compile it) or the use of an unofficial build (And giving up any and all support unless you go back to a base build to recreate the problem).

OK, thank you. I saw that someone had done it with the song progress bar and was hoping for the best with my question.

You can do that with a standard progress bar without patching, but not with lines of text.
