IS dual boot on ipod mini still broken with podpatcher?

Some older posts mentioned that after an install with podpatcher it was not possible to boot into the OF.  This was also mentioned in an FAQ and referred to an alternate install method.  For Linux this appears to be a rather cryptic combo of fdisk and dd.
Has anybody recently used a current build and installed on an ipod mini 1g or 2g and had problems with dual booting rockbox and the ipod OF?  (Or has this issue been resolved?)  I've done a search but nothing recent shows up.

That was fixed a _long_ time ago.  You shouldn't have any problems with the latest versions of everything on the mini.
