.Sat Difficulties, Need help!
« on: September 23, 2007, 11:51:11 PM »
First off, im wondering, Do i need Gigabeat room installed along with WMP10? Secondly, With WMP connection on gigabeat and wmp 10 installed i get the device coming up on "My Computer" as a Audio device, How can i change that? With WMP11 installed the device comes up after rebooting as a Portable storage device(this is what i need to have) but it goes away and is unable to start ("This Device cannot Start" Code 10). This has been bugging me forever as i have about 5 gigs worth of music on my player and no back ups  :-\. Any Help appreciated, Thank you.

Herm, 3rd Update; I got my gigabeat to come up as a "portable Device" exactly like it says in the wiki about .sat files. The problem is... 5 seconds later it disapears from the My Computer list and is gives me "This device cannot start(code10)" Message at the device manager page. Curently using WMP11 2.02 FW and my gigabeat works just fine by itself.

Fixed: Ok i got the Portable device stay, but when i copy and paste the files, nothing happens. When i copy and paste folder, only the folder i copied is there, with nothing in it (no other folders within). Also, if i copy a file in the gigabeat hard drive folder, then it gives me an error saying the device has been stopped/unplugged.
