No, it doesn't say that.  It says that the iPod 2nd generation is supported, not the 2nd generation Nano.  And it also says this:

Quote
Rockbox is an open source firmware for mp3 players, written from scratch. It runs on a wide range of players:

    * Apple: 1st through 5.5th generation iPod, iPod Mini and 1st generation iPod Nano
(not the Shuffle, 2nd/3rd gen Nano, Classic or Touch)

It'll happen when someone with the hardware and know-how gets the port really going.  As it is, don't hold your breath; it's probably not gonna be soon.

And for definitions of "soon"... well...

The Nano 2G has been out since, what, last September? And no-one has done any work on it at all yet.

But, of course, a Rockboxed 1st gen nano has video... :)

I suggest updating your version then! ;)

Sorry for going a bit off-topic here but I thought this statement cannot be left uncommented.

I think he was referring to FF/REW in Mpegplayer.   ;)

Yes, that's what I understood and meant too...

Just have a look at the "Set start time" option in the current mpegplayer start menu. ;) And it's part of SVN for 1 or 2 weeks now, if I remember correctly. It's not that handy at the moment in my eyes but it's still some sort of seeking. The wiki was also updated today (but after my post).

pixelma, that does give some ability to navigate around a file but would probably not be considered seeking by most users.

GodEater, I agree this is now wildly off-topic.  Febs resolved the OP's question in the first reply, so this thread serves no further purpose, I think.  If further discussion regarding the Mpegplayer plugin is desired someone may start a new topic for that.

Lock.
