Database initialize on 1g Nano
« on: September 22, 2007, 11:52:09 AM »
I just installed Rockbox r17795 on a 1g iPod Nano.  I can't get the database to initialize successfully.  Every time go into the database menu option it says the database is not initialized and do I want to initialize it. I say yes and then it works for a bit and then seems to stop.  Every time it seems to find a different number of songs before stopping.  Going back into the menu says that the database is not initialized.

Ideas?

You probably have one or more songs with odd tags that the datbase is falling over.  Try removing half your music then retrying and so on and see if you can isolate the problem track(s).
