Locked new C240

Hi I have a new C240 which I would like to Rockbox but when I turn it on the screen shows a little padlock and then it turns off.
Do I need to set it up to run on Windows before I Rockbox it?

Slide the hold switch to the left (off)  :)

Thanks,
I have installed the rockbox firmware and downloaded sansapatcher-c200.zip.
Followed the instructions on the terminal and seemed to have loaded sansapatcher and the rockbox splash has appeared.
Have to go now but THANKS
