1g Ipod won't shut down

I do thank the team for a 1g port.  I recently installed the software with the updated patch.  However rockbox will not shut down.  When I shut it down it will just reboot.  If I wait for the idle time so it will shut down itself, all it does is reboot.

Is there an option I am missing?  For some reason I can't get the thing to shut off.  

But it does work great on my 5.5 ipod.  Not sure what is wrong?  Any hints?

The 1st and 2nd generation iPods can't be shut down. They only can be put to sleep, and Rockbox does not yet have a functioning sleep mode. Just boot the original firmware and let it sleep.
