Ipod 5.5g Wont do anything

I had rockbox running on my ipod and it was working flawlessly. I had my ipod connected to my PC over night, and im pretty sure i turned my ipod off when i shut the PC off. Now the ipod wont turn on, wont connect to the computer, and wont show that its charging. Ive tried Menu+Select for 2 minutes at a time with no success. Its connected to my computer but doesnt show up, but i hope its charging. I dont have an AC adapter either... any suggestions on what to do?

No need for a reply.. problem was solved with a trip to the apple store and a new ipod! W00T for apple warranty!

Anyone would've told you to spend $30 at the Apple Store and get the wall charger.
