c240: OF boot / microSD issues

(1/2) > >>

alexs:
Finally got rockbox running on my c240. Cool :-) Thanks rockbox team!
But there are some issues still left.

1. OF booting. I only can boot /System/OF.mi4, but not the hidden partition. Should it be so, or there's something wrong? Here's what it says when hold |

linuxstb:
Did you install with sansapatcher?  That's the only way to keep a copy of the OF in the firmware partition.

I believe the microSD doesn't work yet on the c200, but I'll let someone who knows more than me answer.

lowlight:
The microsd detection is currently disabled until I can get a card to test. If you are compiling your own builds, I can make a patch for you to test.

For the record, also not working properly: FM (same chip as e200, but different hardware init), recording (someone needs to enable and test to see if it works & what needs fixing), and battery (needs the proper limits).

No, binary one refused to work (that was e200 only version I guess), and it wasn't clear which P5022.mi4 should I use to build it from sources.

Oh, I see. Just reinstalled the bootloader using sansapatcher, and it succeeded booting from hidden partition. Thanks!

That would be nice. I'm new to rockbox development but if there's some way I could help I'd like to.

kaze:
hello,
could you please send me the patch for microsd ?
thank you very much for your work anyway.
