Video playback on e280R

OK, I have rockbox on my e280R. The video is great! It plays just as good as the original firmware while taking 3x less space! One question, though: Will there ever be other video formats supported?

Please search the forums, this has been asked and answered before.

Video needs to be two things:
1) In a format fast enough to play back well.
2) Small enough to fit the screen (resizing while playing would make it too slow).

Because of this, you will pretty much always have to convert, so there's not much reason to support other formats.

OK, just checking. I LOVE rockbox video though. For me, it decodes as good as the original firmware at 1/3 of the file size. And for fullscreen (which I like; it's easier to see) I can get up to 24 fps with no jerks, and I can get 30 fps with no jerks for widescreen (but, I prefer fullscreen).
