Boot loader help.

(1/1)

newcement:
Okay, I'm very new to Rockbox, so bare with me.

This is the problem I'm having.

I'm following the installation instructions and I've gotten stuck at the bootloader part.  It says to go into the root folder of the player.  Well, I don't even see a root folder.  I only see the following folders: .rockbox, My Music, picture, and WMPinfo.xml

Am I missing something here?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

GodEater:
The "Root" of the device is the bit you're looking at that contains those other folders.

You still need to turn on viewing of Hidden and System Folders in Explorer though - because you can't see the GBSystem folder there (because it is both Hidden and System!)

newcement:
I did turn on view hidden folders.  But, no matter, I ended up using the rockbox utility to install it.

A quick question, though:  How do I synchronize my files with rockbox?  All I've ever used is WMP, iTunes, and GigaBeat Room...

But not "System" it would seem.

Just copy them over with explorer....
