ipod nano, not working
kewvention:
its my first time here, already having a problem though. first i loaded rockbox, following the manual for the 1st gen ipod nano. it all went well, it worked. but the next day , i plugged it into the usb port, and rockbox didnt start, and neither did the apple firmware start. instead i got the error "battery very low". so after several attempts of getting into disk mode, i uninstalled rockbox, and removed the folder also, and at first it would not boot the default apple firmware. Now ive done it twice now, in one day. i can get into into the apple firmware, but no music plays. if i remove the usb cable, the battery icon also disappears from the top right corner. it syncs with the computer, but it doesnt play anything. i can select play but its not really playing anything. i've also tried to do the manual firmware restore method, and it seemed like it worked, but it didnt, its the samething unfortunately.
joedoe4:
when you plug it in restore it(using itunes) after that it should be back to normal
kewvention:
yes i did that too, i tried restoring with itunes twice, still nothing. still able to go into apple fimware. cant play music, battery bar gone.
Chronon:
If you restored it then there is no Rockbox related code on the player.
kewvention:
yup i got that. but any clue as to why music doesnt playback or why the battery meter is not there? i know its not rockbox related.
edit: k , what i've done now is reinstalled rockbox. what happens now is that the apple logo comes up, and just stays there.
