Theme shows default WPS (was: while playing screen..help?)

i put the themes on.. i have like 2, but the problem is the while playing screen...the theme shows me a whole new layout, other than what is being shown on my screen. It just shows me the default rockbox wps..any suggestions? and also, it is giving a lot of glitches, like my screen keeps freezing..any help? thanks.

please give more info. what player do you have what themes did you try and you should have the latest build for the player you have.

1. make sure you have the fonts package installed.
2. make sure the theme is compatible with your build -- if the wps contains errors it won't show. Specifically, themes that require an unsupported build will not work with the official build.

i have the current build, the theme i have is aurora black... its the windows media player 11 theme. but while my songs playing... it wont show.. i dont have the fonts package installed tho.. where do i get that?

From what i can tell (the poster did not specify what he tested with), the theme uses at least the scrolling margins patch. The latest rockbox build does not include the scrolling margins patch, therefore the theme will not work (as stated above). Try one of the unsupported builds.

It's a variant of the jBlackGlass themes.  You can use any build that includes AlbumArt, Bitmap Resize and Scrolling Margins patches.

If you are going to ask for help it's nice if you would pay attention to people's responses.  If you check out the Unsupported Builds forum you will see that most topics contain links to an unsupported build.
