problem with sanspatcher
« on: September 14, 2007, 07:40:40 PM »

I'm trying to install Rockbox, but when i start sansapatcher it says:
ERR No e200s found, aborting
ERR Please connect your Sansa and ensure it's in UMS mode
ERR Please refer to ... rockbox manual.

Any ideas why is this happening?

I also have put the .rockbox folder on the root of my Sansa ,and im runnin on windows xp

No, because you left out loads of important details:
- do you have Administrator rights?
- is the sansa really in UMS (MSC) mode?
- are you sure it's an e200 and not an e200r?
