Ipod Video (30 gig) - How exactly do you charge the damn thing?

Greetings.

I recently installed Rockbox and have yet really gotten the hang of it. The one problem I am having is that my Ipod will not charge anymore. I have it plugged into my computer by usb and all it does is just idle plugged in. After about 10 minutes it will just turn off again and say "Low battery - Charging" After that it will get about a 9-10% charge but after rockbox actually loads, it stops charging. I also have it set to charge in USB mode in settings. Any ideas? I tried booting it up into the stock Ipod firmware, but all it does after pressing the two correct buttons is just sit in the apple logo screen.. I would greatly appreciate any help. Thanks. (I apologize if this question has already been answered, I tried searching various times and came up without any results).

Odd. I think I fixed it. I had to reset the cfg.. One thing. I have a 5.5 generation video ipod. I heard that that version is not supported. Should I just uninstall rockbox? I really never ran into any noticeable problems, even though RB doesn't support it yet. (Or does it?)
