Some Help with Compiling.

I read the WIKI!

i am still having trouble thow.

Now, i got WMware. installed it and tryed the compiling thing.
Everything was fine. But heres my problem. i got a copy of my edited source in windows, Now how do i compile it On WM? and then bring it back to windows?

If somebody chould help that whould be awsome

I tryed that and it says "Windows Cannot find \\debian\user. Check the...."
What should i do?

Make sure that you have VMWare running.  Click "Start," then "Run ..." and type "\\debian\user".

I can only suggest re-installing VMWare and the Rockbox image completely. That was what fixed it for me AFAIK, although I was never convinced that I had done anything differently to make it work.

Remember you must have VMWare running and the Rockbox image loaded in order for Windows to find it...

Just maybe:
Check your firewall setting(s) -> Trusted zones, look for something as VMware Virtual Ethernet Adapter for VMnet1 and VMnet8 something like that.
The address by example could be 192.xxx.yyy.zzz and enable them in the trusted zone!
I had to do also with Kerio FireWall....
Than wait ( Windows could take some time..) and then try again  \\debian\user
