5g 30gb w/ apple drivers NOT WORKING

Ok, so in those instructions, when it says "NOTE you must replace "diskN" with the correct name of the disk..." what do u put in there? I'm not quite sure. And just to clarify, this is being entered into the terminal right?

Replace N with the correct number assigned to your iPod. If your iPod is assigned disk2, for example, then replace N with 2.
And yes, this is being entered in the terminal. Just type exactly what the page instructs you to type, and you should be fine.

You put in the disc name. ipodpatcher shows this, so you can just run ipodpatcher, watch the output and cancel installation. On linux this is usually something like "/dev/sda", on mac something like "/dev/disk2". You need to make sure to use the correct name as you otherwise might overwrite the boot sector of a different drive (thus most likely causing trouble with that drive).
