If i was to make a mistake in the "simplified" process, would I be able to fix it through my computer or recovery mode?

Or is their any chance the player would be rendered useless in any situation?

I am curious because you claimed that the present process of installing rockbox on the e250R was not for the "light hearted", like me.

Both processes will require manufacturing mode, and the method for repairing your player should the worst happen is essentially identical to the current installation process.

But to make a mistake in the simplified process, it's very likely you'd have to unplug your player in the middle of the transfer of data to it.

Sorry, i may not refer to it in the same way, but what exactly do you mean by "manufacturing mode". I'm assuming it means recovery mode.

No, it means Manufacturing Mode. Recovery mode is a different mode. Please see the actual install instructions...
