a few MPEG viewer questions

Don't cut and paste into Notepad. Just download the file directly into the WinFF folder. Right-click on the presets.xml link and then select "save file as ..." or "save link as ..." (the exact phrasing of the option may vary depending on which browser you use).

I'm having trouble with this part. I "save link as..." directly into the WinFF file. I opened WinFF, but the original presets are still there. Trying to import the preset
results in "Preset: "H105FS" already exists" error message. What am I doing wrong here?
By the way, does it matter that I'm using WinFF 0.31?

Using Windows, it will normally say 'This file already exists, do you want to replace it?' or something similar. If you are not seeing this message, then you are probably saving into the wrong folder.
Try actually locating the original presets.xml file first, so that you know where to copy the downloaded one to.

if you're using WinFF 0.31 you have to paste the presets.xml in C:\Documents And Settings\User\Application Data\Winff\
I had the same problem.
