i have Mrobe 500i Jtag

so we have full jtag access and im aware that having jtag access will help the port. in what way does it help? can we use this to make drivers possibly and what do other developers use jtag for when porting rockbox?

Having a JTAG connection is always helpful as it is a great debugging tool. You can run and debug the program without flashing / reloading from disc all the time and it usually allows full source-level debugging.

If you can, please make the information how to connect accessible for others (unless they already are, haven't looked)
