questions about TXT Viewer

Hi everybody, i am just a newbie....

recently, installed rockbox on my F20,
i have some txt, ebooks, in chinese, but i can read it by the default txt viewer,
are there any support for eastern languages?

p.s. the rockbox is fine to display chinese/japanese, etc, just the txt viewer can't.

You can select the codepage to use in the text viewer settings menu. You most likely have this setting wrong.

Do you mean the overall codepage setting? I can't find a 'text viewer settings menu' on my Gigabeat.

A quick search for "text viewer codepage" brings up the following post: http://forums.rockbox.org/index.php?topic=10756.msg81588#msg81588 (ok, had an advantage ;)  )

The button to bring up the text viewer's menu on the gigabeat is according to the code... "Menu".

I'll really try work on this chapter somewhen the next days...
