30GB iPod Themes (Need Help)

<< < (2/3) > >>

Chronon:
That suggests that you didn't unzip them to the right place.  Check the path to your .wps file for starters.

Omerta:
I did.. everything is correct

etien:
I usually install my new themes manually. I also have a mac, so seeing invisible files can be a bit tricky. Here's what I do:

1. navigate to the iPod root folder in Terminal: open Terminal window, type "cd " (note the space) and drag the iPod icon to the Terminal window. press enter.
2. make invisible rockbox folder visible: "mv .rockbox rockbox". This renames the ".rockbox" folder as "rockbox", thus making it visible.
3. unzip the theme you've downloaded. Most themes once unzipped are named ".rockbox", so do the same 1-2 steps to make it visible (in step one you need to "cd " to the directory where the theme was unzipped)
4. copy files one by one to their correct location, if a directory does not exist in your iPod's rockbox directory, create it (eg the folder "fonts" does not exist by default, you'll need to create it).
5. "cd " to your iPod again, and make "rockbox" folder invisible again ("mv rockbox .rockbox")

test it, it should work now. Always worked for me anyway. Please note however that some themes require that you install special builds of Rockbox (with special fonts and additional patches, such as scroll bars etc)

Chronon:
etien, that might help if the OP has trouble unzipping the folders to the correct location.  However, the OP claims to have all of the files in the correct place. . .

Omerta, what happens if you go to /.rockbox/themes/ and "play" one of the .cfg files there?  Do the themes that you installed all have a correspondingly named .cfg file in the themes folder?

Omerta:
If I go to files/rockbox/themes the files are there, but nothing changes when I load them.
