Emulators for Rockbox
« on: September 08, 2007, 05:14:30 PM »
Here are some emulators that could work on rockbox
-Atari (all buttons needed are there on sansa)
-Snes (Button Combos would be needed)
-Nes (Button Combos would be needed)
-Genisis(Button Combos would be needed)
-vMac(Mouse = up down left right, Click = center button, keyboard = scroll wheel)

These are just ideas, so dont get mad at me. I know how hard it is to make programs for rockbox. The vMac emulator is an old macintosh emulator, currently ported to computer and nintendo DS. JUST IDEAS!

This is not a board for feature requests (those go on the tracker).  A quick search would tell you of a few efforts for an NES emulator.  All the other ones are either entirely unfeasable (vMac, Genesis, SNES) or simply no interest by a developer.

On the other hand anyone at all may undertake to port a suitably licensed project.    :)
