HELP!!!!!! My Video Ipod not working

<< < (2/2)

MIYU:
Two other thing,

i have charged my ipod for several days on and off (disconnecting and connecting ) between the usb and the wall charger. I am currently left my ipod charging from a wall charger for the past 4 hrs already and intend to left it there for 48 hrs according to suggestion from other post.

I think i should also let you know that when i connected it to my comp, my comp only recognized it as a removable device and not as and Ipod. When i try to get access to my ipod (removable device) i get a no respond and have to manual end task.

It sounds like your hard drive has failed.   If you can get Windows to recognize it, you could try running a disk repair utility like chkdisk to see if you can get it working, but from what you describe, it definitely sounds like you have a hardware problem.

MIYU:
how do i run a disc check??

Here is a link to the instructions:
http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/windows/xp/all/proddocs/en-us/chkdsk.mspx?mfr=true

You'll need to run this from a command prompt.  Go to the Start button, select "Run ..." and type "cmd" into the dialog box.
