Frozen Screen with Blackjack iRiver H320

HELP!!!  I carefully loaded Rockbox to see if made recording live concerts any easier and while browsing around after installation, I got into blackjack.  Went to get out and now it is locked on the "saving high scores" screen.

Nothing I push or hold down will shut it off.  I just want to shut it down and get Rockbox off there.  Got a show to record next Friday

Please help!

Thanks
Mike

There is a reset hole somewhere at the side of the Iriver (should be in your Iriver manual as well). You have to press the "button" that's behind with the help of something like a paper clip.

It's a pity that this was your first impression of Rockbox, usually it runs quite stable on the H3x0s. Maybe you can give it another try if you have a bit more time.

That worked...thanks!  Whew...I thought I'd killed it already!

Well my first impression was "wow, it looks plain and crappy" but then I saw how quickly it started up and figured the trimmed away fluff wouldn't be missed.

I went to try a recording with it and it says "encoding error" and "disc full" after seconds.

I was sure I'd made the default folder the Recording folder in the root so it should have plenty of room free (14gigs or so).

I MUST conquer this as my fave band is playing their second last gig next Friday and I'd rather not resort to my friends borrowed MD recorder here beside me.

Ideas?

Thanks
Mike

Chronon:
You should create a new topic for your recording problems in the appropriate forum.  Please also provide the firmware revision you are using in that thread.

foolsfortune:
Sorry, firmware doesn't say on the screen anymore but it is 1.25 (EU)

I'm getting all kinds of errors like it can't read config files and such.  Shoudl all the Rockbox files be in the root directory or should they be in a folder called Rockbox and have THAT in the root?

It also give a No Codec error when trying to play an mp3.  I've obviously got some files in the wrong spot.....
