sansa sound issues and others

no matter which build I use, custom or the daily build with 2 songs from timbaland I get this weird sound that sorta sounds like a cd with scratched bit with a weird "wipe-ing" sound (like wiping a dish clean, that little squeaking sound >.<). I then tried the song in the sandisk firmware and it sounds perfect. however the original firmware doesnt allow my sansa to work with all the ipod stuff in my house (Im the only one in my house that didnt go mac e_e)
so is there any way I can fix this issue?
it WMA format and 128 kbp

and a few things Im curious about.
how does rockbox make the sansa able to play music through the ipod connector (for instance itrip works with rockbox but not the sandisk), why is this?

and I have the album art showing for all my tunes in windows media player but when I sync my music to the sansa I get no album art, any way I can send that art with the song?

is it just the one song? have you tried re-encoding it to a different bit rate or format or something? if i had to guess id say that it probably has somehting to do with the wma playback in rockbox. its fairly new.

im embarassed to say, but the real reason i posted this was to bump it and ask you a little more about your second paragraph, using ipod dock connected accesories with the sansa. what particular accesories are we talking about here?

about album art, if your talking about with rockbox, you need to have a patched build that supports it.
