AlexP:
1)  Please stop double and triple posting - use the modify button

2)  We need to know EXACTLY.  Steps like:

--- Quote from: DavidGWRawson on September 07, 2007, 04:07:44 AM --- 1. Followed Bootloader Patching Instructions for Linux (Used Ubuntu)
 2. Applied Bootloader Patch Using e200tool
 3. Failed
 4. Randomly messed with things
 5. Bricked it
 6. Fixed it a little
 7. Now looking for an e260r bootloader

--- End quote ---

are not specific.  Exactly what steps did you follow?  How did you apply the bootloader patch.  Clearly you didn't follow the steps exactly because it didn't work.  "Randomly messed with things" - what things?  How?

You were told to wait many times and you didn't, so if you want help now you have to help us.

It won't work  ???.  Seriously follow the instructions Bagder gave you EXACTLY and you can resurrect it.

DavidGWRawson:
im sorry...i just read other people were successful with rockbox on e200r. Is there just an internal battery i can remove and replace to reset everything to it's default?

Llorean:
No. You have to do the instructions given to you.

This is why there were warnings, it is not an easy fix. Follow Bagder's instructions and you can fix it.

DavidGWRawson:
alright, ill just do it the way badger said to. where do I find the vanilla and binary-patched bootloaders, do you download them? ill do it in the morning....

GodEater:
You should *already* have downloaded them, you know - when you read the installation instructions that you managed not to follow.
