E250R "Load main image failed" after running install steps
John Brown:
I think you skipped the linux part like me  ;D
like they said if you don't have linux you don't have rockbox.
so you have to wait.
scorche:
No...we said a liveCD will work just fine.

This is what I saw when I first tried to patch bootloader:
root@localhost sansa]# ./e200tool recover BL_SD_boardSupportSD.rom
e200tool v0.2.3-alpha (c) by MrH 2006, 2007
Searching for device 0781:0720 ... found!
Initializing USB stub (4780 bytes) ... done!
Writing 'BL_SD_boardSupportSD.rom' to address 0x10600000
Searching for device 6666:e200 ... 9 found!
Write at 0x1065fc38
Write done!
Running from address 0x10600000
Searching for device 6666:e200 ... found!
Execution started!
[root@localhost sansa]#
The screen on my sansa alternated between
LUN0 locked
LUN0 unlocked
LUN0 locked
LUN0 unlocked
LUN0 locked
LUN0 unlocked
LUN0 locked
LUN0 unlocked
for a number of minutes. Eventually I pulled the plug and battery on it and it booted normally on power up. Was the above message normal?
I decided to do the boot loader install proceedure again from the start. I have the same message rolling on screen now. I have to go to work, I'll leave it looping until morning in this part of the world.
Thanks
Clutch

Make sure you hold REC when booting.

This is considered normal. Simply unmount the Sansa, and you can disconnect it.

So you didn't give it time to write the bootloader...

(cut and paste) This is considered normal. Simply unmount the Sansa, and you can disconnect it. It will keep 'looping' forever until you disconnect the Sansa.
