I got it following the instructions at:
http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/SansaE200RInstallation#1_Bootloader_Patching

I cut and pasted the wget statements to get the files.

How old is that loader?
Where is a link to one I should be using?

The tubes are still kinked, so I can't see the link, but that bootloader is from Februrary, so it's about 7 months old.

Well, I put it aside and followed the unbrick instructions today using FC8 instead of FC5 that was on the machine back in September.  My sansa e250r is working again!

Running into connection problems downloading latest rockbox stuff atm so I'll rock box it in the next few days.

So count by out of the brick column for now ;)

Used linux to modify bootloader, windows to install rock box.  I'm rockboxed now.
