4GB cards don't even seem to be readily available yet, so you've probably got a while to wait until 8GB ones are available.

Best Buy in the US has 4GB Sandisk ones for $80 this week.  I got one today on eBay for $55 plus shipping.

EDIT: Best Buy in the US having them may or may not indicate being "readily available." Sorry if that sounded americacentric...

BestBuy/CircuitCity are always expensive ;)  NewEgg has a Sandisk 4GB MicroSD card for $58.99 (USD).  Link is http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820171275.  Out of stock though.

I have  never heard of the brand before though: A Data.

That site is advertising the regular SDHC cards, not  the microSDHC that this thread is about.

The couple of sites that I've seen mentioning the 8GB microSDHC say that it will be available in Jthe new year.
