Where to get the patches ? I want to build a custom Gigabeat build like EvilG's
« on: September 07, 2007, 08:22:08 AM »
Hi !

I liked the build given by the Korean guy who made the Zune theme but it was removed from the wiki.
So, following the advice there, I turned to EvilG's build. Good.
The problem is that I can't exit from the videos without a total freeze of my Gigabeat and the video player is not updated to its great latest version I culd test with the "simplebuild".
The "simplebuild", however, doesn't support advanced WPS such as the Zune theme.

I would like to build a build with the all-WPS enbling patches, the latest video player and possibly some PDA-like features like agenda and contacts, and wikipedia reader (this is not necessary but would be nice).

I installed vmware player and don't have access to the network yet. I'll solve it myself, this is not rockbox's duty to help me on that topic.

But I wonder where to get all the patches mentioned in EvilG's readme: they seem pretty outdated and untested for the Gigabeat on the mentionned webpage : rockbox.webhop.org

Is there no place on the official Rockbox website for those patches ?
ymargin_scrollinfo

multifont-userfonts-20070430
customline-20070430
colorized-wps-20070430
custom_list_position-20070430

I'll add this patch too from EvilG's build :
one click to insert FS# 2653 (3)

Any help on the topic of those patches is apreciated !

just as a remainder for me : http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/SimpleGuideToCompiling

Ask EvilG. It is his custom build. And he is obliged to provide the source code.

Everyone of those patches are avaliable in the Flyspray tracker.
A link to the tracker is in the navigation bar on the left side of your screen from (almost) every page on rockbox.org
