No denying that at all, BigBambi. I only mentioned it being irrelevant since he's using Windows, and hence must have a FAT32 formatted iPod already.

it is fat32 and yes disc mode is enabled

Have you tried using RBUtilQt? I gave you the link before. Look at my first reply.

Yes i tryd and it says no ipods found

Is your iPod named "removable disk"?  It kind of sounds like it's not mounting properly to me.  Have you tried it with the firmware USB mode as well as the emergency Disk Mode?  You might also restart your computer and see if that helps it to mount properly.
