Hey there, guys. It's me. I don't know if you remember me or not. I disappeared 'cos my iPod finally died after a year of good usage. It had bad sectors all over it, so I sent it to Circuit City (where I bought it and a protection plan) so that they could replace it. Hopefully, I'll get back an 80GB iPod.

Anyways, I was curious about the USB Stack. The impression it gives me is that it will enable file transfer functionality without leaving Rockbox. Firstly, am I right about that? Secondly... is it far along enough for actual use? I don't want to mess my iPod up when I get it back.

Yes it will give rockbox its own file transfer mode, not it's not fully working yet (you can't transfer any files)
