ipod 4G hard drive upgrade

i've seen a couple of tutorials on the net about how to upgrade the hard drives in ipods. seems easy enough. i'm looking to get my hands on a 4G ipod and a 160 GB hard drive (ATA), and eventually combine that with rockbox. can anyone speak to the possibility and/or ease of doing this? thanks

Let's start with "Impossible." 160gb drives are 2.5" (at the smallest) and the iPod requires 1.8" drives. Well, not technically impossible, perhaps, but what you have won't be the same size/shape as an iPod any more.

so they're not just laptop hard drives after all, huh? can you recommend a site that sells 1.8" hard drives?
