Texts customization , is it possible ?

Ya ok well im new to this , but I was wondering Can the texts be customized ? cause everythings sweet and all except I find the letters too small ..

You can change font and get a huge font if you want... If you go settings - general settings - display - browse fonts. You should probably get the official font package which does not come with the current/daily builds from here: http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/RockboxExtras

You can create your own language file and "translate" the text to anything you want. Check the wiki about how this works -- you need to get the source code to do this. In other words: it's possible, but there is no really simple way.

I found the default texts to be way too tiny also.  You can either set a font manually (as long as it has been loaded as stated above) or you can install a theme that has a big font built in.  One of the first things I did when I got rockbox was build a theme that had a big font, you can find it for the Sansa e200 as "BigFont".

All the theme does is load a specified font, it isn't built in per se.

I actually have a question relating to text customization... is there a way to put borders on the text/fonts? my reason for this is that I use multicolored backdrops and its some times hard to see the words. I generally use white colored font so having a black border would be great.

Not with the current set of fonts, but I guess you could make your own.

However, I have no idea how a multi-colour font would work (if, indeed the .fnt format supports it) or how you might go about doing it.

I don't think the .fnt format *does* support it.

In fact, I don't think it's a function of any font format, but rather of the font renderer.

I actually tried fonts with borders with them already but they become unreadable when I look at them on the ipod
