H120 EQ delay bug: I can't see it anymore...

Unfortunately I haven't written the FS number, but I have downloaded a few minutes ago the current build (r14500-070829) and the problem is still there.

In older builds was all Ok. I don't know exactly, but before 1 or 2 months ago it was Ok.

That's not the current build - r14507 is.  The eq bug was fixed in r14506.  I think you downloaded the latest "archived build".

    I'm sorry, but until now I thought that the 070829 daily build was the same current build: "These are automated daily builds of the current code. They contain all the latest features." It also says: "latest (r14500)".

    Everytime, before dowloading I also read the changelog.

Notice it says "Daily". The Current Build page meanwhile says "These builds are provided fresh after every source code change." I'm pretty sure both the manual and posting guidelines mention the different between Daily and Current builds as well.

The daily build is an automated build of whatever the current code is once per day.  The curent build is a build of the current code every time a change is committed.

But is this really a bug?

Normally, the EQ is not applied to the data buffered, and this buffering is normal in any mp3 playing system. Even Winamp has this delay. If you set the buffering to 7 seconds and try EQing, you will note this delay too.

Had you tried to lower the play buffer / do rockbox can modify this setting?

We recommend the current build since quite a while now ... and the archived aka daily builds aren't linked from the menu anymore.

Ah, and BTW, you can also search closed tasks. Just mark it in the search options -- the default search is only in open tasks (for obvious reasons).
