...or any version without the experience of these nasty mp3 ARTIFACTS (hick-ups).
I know this phenomenon has multiple origins, but in my case it hadnt be there before 14XXX.

If the phenomenon is due to the clock speed change, http://download.rockbox.org/daily/ipodnano/rockbox-ipodnano-20070726.zip (r13990) should work for you. Thing is, right now it's probable that the clock speed change is not the source of the problem.
