Doom Sound problem

I got a Sansa from Europe and it wont play the sound in Doom
i tested to download a soundpackage (8bit sounds) but it didnt matter...
i did a full reinstall of roxbox too :P
Any logical explanation for this?

Are you talking about the sound effects or the background music?  Sound effects are implemented and should work, but the music isn't.

What? are you supposed to get sound? i get no FX nor Sound, Nothing
are there sounds in tetris and all other games too?

In all honesty, why do you think a game like Tetris or Solitaire would need sounds? It's a nice idea, but it's nothing more than frills.

Plus, stop and remember that a DAP is not meant to be a gaming device. For that, you can carry something around like a Game Boy or whatnot with you.

Wait a second... if I recall correctly, the sound in Doom is turned off by default, so you have to enable it in its Options menu.

tenkikun, check the sound settings in the Rockdoom options and see if it's on or off.
