just installed rockbox, need help with themes

i just installed the latest version of rockbox on my 5g 30gb video ipod, and i am having trouble installing themes.
  i downloaded a theme from this site and pute the backdrop and wps etc. to their respetive folders in the rockbox folder on my ipod. then went to install the theme and all it did was changed the backdrop.

also being a video ipod i have a few videos. how do i navigate to them and play them?

one last question, the main menu where it shows files settings, plugins etc. is it possible to change that back/similar to the stock fonts? because this is not working for me.


i hope this wasn't to much to ask, any replies would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like the theme is broken. When a theme has errors it will get rejected and the default one loaded. As you don't tell what theme you are referring to I can't tell you anything about that but you might want to try different ones or themes from http://www.rockbox-themes.org/ -- they should be tested.

Rockbox needs videos to be mpeg2 while Apple uses mpeg4. That said you need to convert your videos for playback or use the Apple firmware. Rockbox can dual-boot so you can always boot into AppleOS -- the manual explains how to do this.

Install the fonts package and choose a font you like. No idea if there is a lookalike to the OF's font.
