original ipod firmware error

Hi, I think that ever since I installed rockbox on my ipod I noticed that the way the original ipod organizes the artist and album order are messed up. If I remember correctly, it used to start with # and then A to Z, but now it goes from A - Z, and then ends with #. Also, if the artist was "A Tribe Called Quest" it will list it in the T section instead of the A section.

Is there any way to fix this problem or was this introduced in the original ipod firmware?

I have a very hard time believing this is related to Rockbox being installed, but I can't back it up as I have never used an Ipod.

I see, but what could have caused this error. I uninstalled rockbox and replaced it with the original firmware using ipodwizard and the error is still there. So I guess its not really rockbox's fault but I would like to know what could cause this.
