WinFF for my iPod color
« on: August 22, 2007, 11:42:54 PM »
I read the manual for getting video on my iPod color and i ended up downloading the WinFF one. It said to replace the preset.xml with the one it gives you. When i change it and open WinFF, this error message comes up and won't let me enter WinFF. Can someone please help me???  (I'm sorry if this isn't the place to post it)

Could you try reinstalling WinFF and run it without copying the presets.xml file to see if the problem is in the xml file or WinFF itself?

I did that and it showed up on my player, but wouldn't play. I think it has to do with where i put it. On my player it showed up in the Files section...Is that right??

If I understand your question correctly:

You are free to put your media files wherever you want in your player's directory structure.  Rockbox should not react differently to a file based upon its placement.

a)  What is the name including extension of your video file?

b)  Does it play correctly on your computer?
