Gigabeat settings are resetting...

Hello all...

I have been using rockbox for probably about 6 months now and have overall been very very very happy :)

Recently, however, my Gigabeat has been acting up.  When I power down and then turn it back on, my settings all get reset.  Well, actually, sometimes the settings get completely reset (to default), sometimes the theme gets reset while everything else (playlist, last.fm, etc) stay, and sometimes nothing gets reset.  My setting config files are also gone...

any ideas?

This sounds like a corrupt file system to me. Connect it to a PC and perform a file system check (scandisk).

I did a file system check with repairs (it took forever!) and it seems to have remedied the problem.  Thanks for the tip
