Voice menus confusion + not working?

Ok, i've read all i could about voice menus. What i learned was that you could use a talk file for the file browser directories to be voiced or use a voice file for everything to be voiced. my problem is that my rockbox build is one after  2007-08-06. the voice files are for a particular target and the only one available now is one for the ipod video. i have an ipod nano. do i have to wait for a nano one to come out? what is the difference in those "special" ones. i noted that none of the other voice files worked at all. can i possibly make a nano voice file? thanks for all your advice.

That's odd. When I look at http://www.rockbox.org/daily.shtml, I see voices for all targets, including the nano.

thanks a lot! i didn't notice because i never looked at that page because i thought it usually just had the builds on it. this is because i haven't visited rockbox.org for a while.
