Where to download extra Doom wads?

I am sorry if this topic already exists, if it does could some1 just point me in the right direction?
if not, then my question is:
Where can I download more Doom wad files. If i have been informed correctly then I could place these files under the addons folder, and then I could play a variety of games yes?
like half life, halo, or i dunno.
But where do I download them?
