Where is "favorites" plug-in in the newest release ?
« on: August 19, 2007, 01:48:58 PM »
Hi, after about a year, maybe more , I reinstalled Roxbox, have now last version from Aug 2007. I see there is a lot of new options, recording possibility and more.. Cooool!

But I have one "but.." - where is the plugin which I used to use everyday - favorites.rock ?
It was making a m3u playlist with the tracks I liked. How can I now using 2 buttons save the file track of song which I want to listen again later ?

I copied favorites.rock file from old release of Rockbox but it doesn't work ...

Please help to find any alternative... How can I make best songs playlist easy ?

Cheers,
Rafal

It's been replaced with the "Playlist Catalog" feature. I don't really use it, so I can't tell you how, but if I understand, it does everything favorites.rock used to.

basically you just open the context menu on a song, go to "playlist catalog -> add to new playlist" enter a name, accept it and then do the same on other songs exept chose "add to playlist" instead of creating a new one.
